The Food Corporation of India is a statutory body created and run by the Government of India. It is under the ownership of Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India. It is formed by the enactment of Food Corporation Act, 1964 by the Parliament of India. Its top official is designated as Chairman who is a central government civil servant of the IAS cadre. It was set up in 1965 with its initial headquarters at Chennai. Eligibility Criteria
∙ Applicant must have retired from Revenue Department of any State Government.
∙ Candidates needed to have minimum 3 years of experience as Deputy Commissioner of a district to apply for Advisor post.
∙ Candidates must have completed Bachelor’s Degree from recognized University.
Salary Structure
Selected candidate for the post of Advisor in Food Corporation of India will get paid for Rs. 50000 per month.
