Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation (MRVC) is under the ownership of Indian Railways, Ministry of Railways, Government of India. It was incorporated under Companies Act, 1956 on 12 July 1999 with an equity capital of Rs. 25 crore shared in the ratio of 51:49 between Ministry of Railways and Government of Maharashtra. MRVC is responsible to execute the projects under Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP) as sanctioned by Ministry of Railways for enhancing suburban rail transportation capacity thereby reducing the over crowding and meeting future traffic requirements. The corporation will also be involved in the planning and development of Mumbai Suburban Rail system.
Age Limit
The age of the candidates should be minimum of 40 years if the candidates belong to the internal unit. If the candidates fall under other than internal, the upper age limit will be 45 years. The age of superannuation is 60 years.
Educational Qualification
The applicant who possess the qualification of Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant or a full time MBA/PGDM course having specialization in Finance are eligible to apply for this recruitment. Officers of Organized Group ‘A’ Accounts Services are exempted from these educational qualifications
Experience
The applicant should have at least five years of cumulative experience at a senior level to apply for this recruitment.
Salary
The candidates who will be selected for this recruitment are eligible to get the salary of Rs. 1,80,000/- to Rs.3,40,000/- (IDA) for this recruitment.
Selection Process
The candidates will be shortlisted through the interview and other process by the board. The appointment shall be for a period of five years from the date of joining or upto the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
