About CSIR UGC NET:
CSIR is pioneer in supporting research and development activities in India. It first started extramural research support to the scientists who work in universities and r&d institutions from 1943 with research schemes wide department of commerce resolution no. 148.Ind.(157)/41 dated 26th September 1942. CSIR has also started various schemes over the years to benefit students to pursue their research interests in so many areas of science & technology, the most noteworthy among these is CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test for JRF and Eligibility for Lectureship.
About CSIR-UGC Fellowship:
Online applications for JRF/NET are invited two times every year on an all India basis via press notification, which is available on the HRDG website. CSIR and UGC is trying to provide research fellowships for young men and women who are smart and bright, and later for their research under expert guidance of faculty member or scientists who work in university department or national laboratories or institutions in various fields of science. One thing is that only bonafide Indian citizens are eligible for this test.
CSIR UGC NET June 2020 Result:
There is going to be two separate merit lists out of which one will be consisting of candidates who qualify for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and other one will have candidates who qualify for Eligibility Test for Lectureship (LS-NET), on the basis of the UGC NET exam performance of these candidates. If a candidate qualifies for JRF-NET, he will also be eligible for Lectureship.
In one month after conducting the exam, the answer keys will all be published on the CSIR HRDG website.
Final results of the exam are going to be published in a short while and the fellowship to successful candidates will be made available and effective from April 2020 till the next two years to join under CSIR scheme.
