The Union Public Service Commission has released the Admit Card for the exam. The candidates who have applied for the exam can visit the Official Website to download the Admit Card for the exam. The Union Public Service Commission has released a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Commandant posts. There are almost 270 vacancies to be filled. The intake of officers at the level of Assistant Commandant is 50% through direct recruitment from the open market, 33% by promoting Inspectors and remaining 17% through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE), wherein Inspectors and Sub Inspectors fulfilling the criteria are eligible.

Exam Pattern 2016 – Paper 2 (General Study, Essay and Comprehension)
- This section will be of subjective nature.
- The total questions asked in this section would be around 10
- The total marks would be around 200.
- The candidates will get around 3 hours to solve this paper.

The candidates who have applied for the Exam are requested to download the Admit Card for the Exam. The authority has planned to conduct the exam on 26th of June 2016. The candidates need to download the Admit card 15 days before the Exam. The information like the date of the exam, Venue of the exam, time, etc. will be provided in the Admit Card. The candidates are requested to carry the Admit card along with an ID proof to the Examination hall. Without the Admit Card, the candidates will not allow entering the Examination Hall.
