National Health Mission
The National Health Mission (NHM) was divided into two Sub-Missions as National Rural Health Mission and National Urban Health Mission. NHM was launched by the Ministry of Health and Welfare of the Government of India in 2005. NHM Karnataka is a government undertaking mission by the state government of Karnataka. The primary aim of the National Health Mission is to improve the access of rural people especially poor Women and Children and provides adequate primary health care.
