UPSSSC is the state organization authorized to conduct the various examination for appointments to the various posts. UPSSSC constituted under the provision of the U.P. Subordinate Services Selection Commission Act 2014. The UPSSSC came into existence in November 1988 as UPSSS board with its headquarters at Lucknow.

UPSSSC Forest Guard Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted in five phases
- Written Test
- Interview
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Physical Efficiency/ Endurance Test (PET)
- Medical Examination
The candidates qualified in written test will be called to appear in Interview/ Personality Test. PST will be conducted for the candidates passed in Written Test & Interview. It is a qualifying nature test. Those candidates who passed the PST will be expected to qualify Physical Efficiency/ Endurance Test (PET). After qualifying all the tests, aspirants will be checked that they are medical fit or not as per the scale of Medical Test.
